The Legal Life – meet Angela Foudoulis

05 November 2020

Angela Foudoulis is a Senior Associate in our Corporate & Commercial group, specialising in commercial property.

What excites you right now?

Now that restrictions in Melbourne have eased, I am very much looking forward to going out for dinner and a few drinks with friends. I am excited to see Melbourne bounce back to the vibrant city it was before Lockdown.

How do you unwind?

By watching reality TV shows – it always astounds me how people go on TV just to tell their whole life story and cry.

What is the best piece of advice you can give lawyers starting out today?

The longer you practice, the more you realise you need to learn. It is important to always be open to new learning opportunities and experiences, or you risk not growing and developing as a lawyer.

What are your goals for the remainder of 2020?

Just to survive the remainder of the year. I am looking forward to 2021 and hoping it will be a year of far more freedom than 2020.

What do you think sets Rigby Cooke Lawyers apart from other firms?

Rigby Cooke’s size means it attracts a diverse range of matter sizes and I enjoy having the opportunity to work on some of the larger matters. In the big firms, you get large matters but don’t know all of your colleagues because the firm is so large, and you often only get to know the people on your floor. I really like that at Rigby Cooke we all know each other and enjoy getting together in the office kitchen for a coffee and a chat. Pre-COVID of course!

What do you enjoy most about working with your clients?

The camaraderie and the strong friendships that I have developed with my colleagues, who I now consider friends.
