28 October 2026

We are delighted to announce that Rigby Cooke Lawyers (Rigby Cooke) has increased its support of the Australasian Supply Chain & Logistics Association (ASCLA) to become a Gold Partner and their legal services provider.

Announced last Friday at the ASCLA Industry Awards in Brisbane, Rigby Cooke has committed to a two-year strategic partnership with ASCLA to become a Gold Partner. Under this partnership, Rigby Cooke will be ASCLA’s legal services provider, delivering a range of corporate and commercial legal services designed to strengthen the organisation’s corporate foundations and support its position as the industry representative body of choice.

Rigby Cooke has a long-standing reputation for providing high-quality legal advice to the Australian supply chain and logistics, transport, and customs and trade industry, and broader commercial sectors generally. Having dedicated specialist industry practice groups across the firm which call upon a broad range of legal disciplines, has enabled Rigby Cooke to establish its reputation as a market leader across those industries.

Commenting on Rigby Cooke’s expanded support for ASCLA, Managing Partner Bill Karvela said:

“We are excited to expand our support of ASCLA and its members. With in-depth knowledge, dedicated industry practice groups, and extensive experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, our Transport & Logistics, Customs & Trade and Manufacturing groups are supported by multi-disciplinary lawyers with the expertise to advise businesses throughout their lifecycle. Our clients trust us to give commercially practical advice in a timely manner. We look forward to deepening our relationship with ASCLA and supporting its members with their legal needs.”

As part of our ongoing support of ASCLA, we are delighted to deliver tangible value through this partnership by offering their members a 10% discount on their first matter across any of the firm’s commercial practice areas. Members will have direct access to experienced legal advisers who understand the supply chain, logistics, transport and broader commercial sectors, helping them address governance, commercial, privacy, intellectual property, employment, property, regulatory and other business legal needs.

ASCLA Chairman, Stephen Lakey, commented:

“We are delighted to welcome Rigby Cooke Lawyers as ASCLA’s trusted legal partner. As the Association continues to grow across Australia and New Zealand, having a firm of Rigby Cooke’s calibre alongside us gives the Board real confidence, and their team will be working closely with us on the modernisation of our constitution and the strengthening of our governance framework so that ASCLA is well placed for its next stage of growth. Just as importantly, Rigby Cooke understands our industry, and the support they are extending to our members reflects a genuine commitment to the supply chain and logistics community. We look forward to a long and productive partnership.”
