Phoebe Langridge

Phoebe represents both companies and individuals in matters involving contract disputes, trust disputes, shareholder disputes and insolvency. She regularly appears in the County Court and Supreme Court of Victoria, as well as the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

From the outset, Phoebe focuses on developing a clear and effective strategic plan for her clients, with an emphasis on achieving efficient resolutions through alternative dispute resolution processes, including informal roundtable conferences and mediation.

Significant experience

• Acted for a UK-based company in protracted Supreme Court proceedings, including an appeal and cross-appeal, involving multiple claims primarily relating to breaches of contractual obligations and the Australian Consumer Law.
• Acted for a defendant company in a family trust dispute, including subsequent appellate proceedings.
• Acted for a defendant and cross-applicant in relation to a multimillion-dollar loan secured by company shares, including complex issues concerning the rightful ownership, directorship, and shareholding of the company.
