Rigby Cooke Lawyers are proud to support sleepbus, a Not-for-Profit organisation dedicated to bringing safe overnight accommodation to people sleeping rough in Australia. The mobile nature of the vehicle allows sleepbus to be available in the areas they are needed most.

With a vision to build 319+ buses ‒ which will provide more than 2,000,000 safe sleeps per year ‒ around Australia, sleepbus rely on the support of corporate and personal donors.

Rigby Cooke lawyers provided pro bono legal services to establish sleepbus as a Not-for-Profit, including registering with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC) and obtaining tax charity concessions and deductible gift recipient status. We also assisted in protecting their valuable intellectual property.
