We congratulate Travis and Bethany for their promotion to Associate.

	Bethany’s main focus is on customs and trade matters handling disputes in relation to customs duty, dumping and countervailing duty, tax and tariff classification. Bethany also regularly advises clients in relation to customs issues at the border, compliance assessments by the Australian Border Force, Dumping and Countervailing Investigations undertaken by the Anti-Dumping Commission, biosecurity issues, export controls, handling and transport of dangerous goods, anti-corruption provisions, labelling requirements and the obligations of Licensed Customs Brokers. Bethany also has experience in commercial litigation as well as cases involving judicial review regularly participating in matters before the AAT and the Federal Court.
	Travis works in our Corporate & Commercial practice area and is actively involved in our Manufacturing industry group. Since commencing his legal career at Rigby Cooke Lawyers, he has gained significant experience in a broad range of matters including: commercial contracts, purchase and sale of businesses, shareholder arrangements, franchising, intellectual property, not-for-profits, competition and consumer law, regulatory and compliance issues, financing, and security arrangements. With a broad base of experience, Travis is able to see the ‘big picture’ and assist clients in a variety of ways in order to achieve valuable commercial outcomes.
