Tom shares what he enjoys most about working in the legal sector and what he is looking forward to for the remainder of 2021.
Favourite holiday spot?
My favourite holiday destination for a good many years has been the Mediterranean. While living in the UK our family went there a lot and absolutely loved it.
When do your best ideas come?
After I have thought about and tackled a challenge, if I’m then able to engage with other things & give it a little time, further thoughts then percolate through into my thinking about the matter and that can make all the difference.
What do you enjoy most about working in the legal sector?
I enjoy the mission that you take on in representing clients in contested matters to find the best solutions for their challenges. It really drives me.
Who has been your biggest mentor?
I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a few key mentors in my life, both professionally and personally. Finding one who you have a natural connection with and, most importantly, who challenges you, is critical for your career, I think.

What are you looking forward to?
I’m really enjoying reconnecting with past clients and building new client relationships, on an engaged, personable basis, for the future.
