Rigby Cooke Lawyers announces Senior Associate promotions

Rigby Cooke Lawyers is proud to acknowledge the exceptional work of our legal staff by announcing four Senior Associate promotions across our Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Planning & Environment, Property and Wills & Estates teams.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Séamus Ryan practises in insolvency law and commercial litigation. Since joining Rigby Cooke in 2015, he has become an accomplished advocate who frequently appears in the Supreme Court, the Federal Court and other jurisdictions.
Séamus advises insolvency practitioners, company directors and individuals about the legal aspects and consequences of corporate and personal insolvency.
Planning & Environment
Gemma Robinson joined the Rigby Cooke team in 2016. Before commencing in legal practice, Gemma practised as a town planner for seven years in multi-disciplinary consultancies, taking projects from due diligence through to the implementation of planning permits.
Her combination of town planning and legal experience gives her a great depth of project knowledge, which she applies to deliver commercial and strategic outcomes for clients.
Stephanie Collins, who joined the Rigby Cooke team in 2015, advises on all aspects of property development including sales and acquisitions, due diligence, commercial and retail leasing, subdivisions and development, and conveyancing.
She has a broad range of commercial, hospitality, industrial and rural property experience, and has expertise in drafting and reviewing related contracts such as loan agreements, service agreements and agreements for the sale of goods and machinery.
Wills & Estates
Rosa Bazzanella joined the Rigby Cooke team in 2012 after a 20 year career in secondary school teaching. Fluent in Italian, many of her Italian-speaking clients benefit from her cultural insight.
She has experience in a wide range of applications for grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, VCAT matters in the Guardianship List, challenging Wills and defending estates from challenges.
