We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering people-focused initiatives that strengthen our workforce capability. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experiences with guidance, support, and mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee HR operations, systems, and data management, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance.
- Manage and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and separation.
- Coordinate CPD and learning & development initiatives, including onboarding and external training programs.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, rewards and recognition, and wellbeing programs, while supporting OH&S practices.
- Provide HR guidance on performance, wellbeing, and workplace matters, partnering with leaders to support probation and review processes.
- Independently manage our graduate recruitment, talent acquisition activities, and work experience programs.
Qualification and experience
- Proven experience as a HR Generalist or Coordinator with a good understanding of HR functions and best practices together with an understanding the Australian legislative framework, including the Fair Work Act.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, high diligence, and a proactive approach. You will need to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to manage both complex matters and day-to-day operational tasks.
- Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with a desire to work autonomously and with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
