INDUSTRY lawyer Andrew Hudson has made a move, taking up a partner position at Rigby Cooke Lawyers after leaving his professional home since 2014 at Gadens.

‘While I enjoyed the time at Gadens, the move to Rigby Cooke enables me to work with colleagues who have expertise in land-side logistics including chain of responsibility and new heavy vehicle obligations – importantly, this enables me to provide assistance to all of those in the total supply chain,’ he told Lloyd’s List Australia.

‘Otherwise I look forward to continuing to provide legal services to those I have been working over the years and to also continue my engagement on industry policy issues and work with the Export Council, Food and Beverage Importers Association, the CBFCA and other industry associations.’

‘The regulatory framework for those in industry is busier than ever and the disruption to world trade through Brexit, the US election and the rise of protectionism makes it an enormously challenging time for industry and I look forward to assisting with these issues.’

Rigby Cooke Lawyers is a commercial law firm that provides specialist legal expertise to both public and private sector clients in Australia and internationally.
