Professional biography:
Rhodie is a partner in Rigby Cooke's Planning & Environment team
with expertise covering planning, environment and property. Rhodie
assists clients with projects from concept stage through to
construction.
Rhodie has extensive expertise and experience in providing commercially
appropriate and strategic advice on planning, environment and land use
regulatory issues.
Significant experience:
- Advising on planning issues relating to shopping centre development
and expansions - Advising on alpine planning and environment issues
- Advising on the impact of proposed developments on airport operations
- Advising government departments on rezoning, planning exemptions
and land acquisition and disposals. - Advising on planning and development of land within growth areas
- Advising on planning, environment, archaeological, heritage, flora and
fauna and other land use regulatory issues - Undertaking due diligence on major acquisitions and advising on key
planning, environment and land use risk issues - Advising on compulsory land acquisition and compensation
- Advising on variation and removal of restrictive covenants
- Advising on subdivisions and open space contributions
- Advising on road closures and discontinuances, Crown land and Crown
land reserve issues
