Professional biography:
Elizabeth is a partner in the commercial litigation group of the firm specialising in complex superior court litigation. Her practice includes all areas of commercial litigation, including contractual disputes, trade practices, family business disputes and professional negligence claims.
Elizabeth has specialist expertise in the transport and logistics industry, including chain of responsibility compliance and defence to prosecutions. She has advised some of Australia’s largest logistics and freight providers and has a deep understanding of the issues that affect this industry sector. Elizabeth keeps up to date with issues facing the transport and logistics industry through her association with peak industry bodies, such as the Victorian Transport Association and the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia, and she presents to these industry bodies.
Elizabeth is an accredited family business advisor and accredited mediator who is fluent in written and spoken Italian.
