Professional biography:
Ben Wyatt heads our Litigation group and is an Accredited Mediator.
Ben has undertaken commercial litigation in all Victorian jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court and VCAT, since 1989.
He has also appeared in the Federal Magistrates Court, the Federal Court and the High Court of Australia.
Significant experience:
- Representing a major food manufacturer in a trade practices dispute
- Major defamation litigation which resulted in changes to the law relating to defences in defamation proceedings
- Advising directors and shareholders in relation to Deeds of Company Administration
- Advising liquidators in relation to preference actions
- Major estate litigation
