Professional biography:
Anton has extensive experience in conducting litigation before all state courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Federal Court and the High Court.
He has represented clients in a broad range of disputes, including commercial and property disputes involving trade practices issues, leases, contracts, negligence, defamation and licences. These clients operate in a number of industries, including banking, property, development, real estate, transport, farming, retail, caravan parks, resources, manufacturing, tobacco and construction.
Significant experience:
- Acted for companies in Supreme Court litigation involving product liability and consequential loss claims
- Acted for companies and individuals in respect of issues and disputes arising from wills, joint venture agreements, professional indemnity and general liability claims, defamation, environment contamination, partnerships, tax and investment advice, and debt collection
- Acted for major real estate agencies in respect of issues and disputes arising out of agency agreements, property transactions, Trade Practices Act and Fair Trading Act
- Acted for property developers in respect of issues and disputes arising from commercial agreements, construction contracts, leases, mortgage of lease, development agreements and contracts of sale
